The Acer Aspire 3 15, being budget-friendly, is ideal if you want to save money and carry out general use tasks, such as web browsing and office applications. Its lightweight design enhances portability, but its lower performance may struggle with intensive applications. On the other hand, the ASUS TUF Dash 15, while pricier, offers much better performance suitable for 3D rendering, machine learning, engineering tasks, and gaming. It has a higher-quality build, more storage space, and is better for multitasking with more RAM. However, it's heavier and less portable compared to the Acer, and the added cost is something to consider if you're budget-conscious. Give Feedback

The ASUS TUF Dash 15 is good for general use, while the Acer Aspire 3 15 is only fair.
The ASUS TUF Dash 15 offers superior performance thanks to a more powerful CPU and double the RAM of the Acer Aspire 3 15, which means it can handle more demanding tasks smoothly. Additionally, the ASUS has a higher quality display, more storage capacity, and better portability despite a modest increase in weight, but its higher capabilities come with a shorter battery life compared to the Acer's more modest specs that favor longer usage away from a power source.

The ASUS TUF Dash 15 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 3 15 has an adequate display with respectable resolution and brightness, which is suitable for browsing, video playback, and document work, making it a decent option for general use and engineering tasks where precise color representation isn't critical. The ASUS TUF Dash 15 offers a higher quality screen with better color accuracy and a wider color range, appealing to engineers and designers who require more faithful color reproduction for tasks such as CAD and image processing. How the Acer Aspire 3 15 and the ASUS TUF Dash 15 compare to other laptops
Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"The Asus TUF Dash F15 FX517ZR is a laptop with mobile RTX 3070 and acceptable battery life. The Asus TUF Dash F15 was made for high-performance applications like video editing, rendering, and gaming. The laptop can manage the latter in QHD resolution and at high to maximum settings. However, the focus isn't on maximum performance, but instead, it's about a compromise between performance and portability."
