The Acer Aspire 3 15 is significantly less expensive and offers sufficient performance for general computing tasks and casual use. On the other hand, the Apple MacBook Pro 16 from late 2019, while pricier, provides higher performance suitable for more demanding applications such as video editing, 3D work, and professional tasks. It also has a larger and higher-resolution screen, as well as a better overall build quality. The MacBook's battery life is superior, which might be important if you need to use the laptop on the go. Considering portability, the MacBook is thinner and lighter, despite its larger screen, making it easier to carry around. Choose the Acer if you're on a strict budget and need a laptop for everyday tasks or the MacBook if you require more power, better display, and portability for advanced workloads. Give Feedback

Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."
