The Acer Aspire 3 15 is significantly less expensive than the Acer Aspire Vero 15 and has decent performance, fanless operation which makes it silent, and a relatively long battery life. However, the Aspire Vero 15, although more expensive, offers a higher performance with double the storage and RAM, a faster processor, and is well-suited for more intensive tasks like 3D and engineering work. Choose the Aspire 3 15 for an affordable, quieter option that handles everyday tasks with ease, or the Aspire Vero 15 for more demanding applications and a performance edge. Give Feedback

The Acer Aspire Vero 15 is good for general use, while the Acer Aspire 3 15 is only fair.
The Acer Aspire Vero 15 is better suited for general use owing to a faster CPU, double the RAM for multitasking, and a larger battery for extended usage, while the Acer Aspire 3 15 has lower storage and may offer less smooth performance with a more modest processor and battery, but it operates silently without a fan, which might be appreciated in quiet environments.

The Acer Aspire 3 15 and the Acer Aspire Vero 15 have similar screen quality.
For general use, the screen quality of both the Acer Aspire 3 and Acer Aspire Vero is adequate because they have acceptable resolution and brightness, which are crucial for activities like browsing and watching videos, but they lack the superior panel technology that would make them stand out. In engineering and design, these models have moderate performance due to fair color reproduction covering basic professional needs, yet they don't reach the high color accuracy and wide color gamuts necessary for precision work. When considering 3D and gaming, the lower refresh rates limit the smoothness of motion, and while resolutions may be sufficient, the lack of high refresh panel types impacts the overall visual fluidity and gaming experience.

The Acer Aspire 3 15, with an AMD Radeon 610M GPU, and the Acer Aspire Vero 15, using Intel Iris Xe graphics, both offer fair performance for gaming and 3D because their GPUs are adequate for light gaming but might struggle with more intensive gaming or 3D tasks. Additionally, both have IPS screens with a standard refresh rate, which is fine for casual gaming, but dedicated gamers often prefer higher refresh rates for smoother visuals.

How the Acer Aspire 3 15 and the Acer Aspire Vero 15 compare to other laptops
Alexander Tozzi, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The Acer Aspire 3 is okay for school use. It feels reasonably well-built, and it's easy to carry around. The display looks decently sharp and provides plenty of space for multitasking, but it doesn't get bright enough to combat glare. Its Intel Core i3-N305 CPU and integrated graphics can only handle simple tasks, like text processing, web browsing, and video playback, so it isn't ideal for students in more technical fields like 3D graphics. Unfortunately, the battery lasts only around six to seven hours of light use."
"The Acer Aspire Vero is an eco-friendly Windows 11 laptop. Made with PCR plastic, the Acer Aspire Vero stands out from the midrange laptop pack with a funky, eco-friendly design. Powering Microsoft’s latest operating system is a Core i7 chip from Intel’s latest series, integrated Intel Xe graphics, and an ample 16GB of RAM. The laptop feels snappy, but its battery life disappoints. I also have a few quibbles with the display and keyboard, but they’re relatively minor. With a longer runtime, the Aspire Vero would earn a stronger recommendation for students or anyone looking for an eco-friendly, big-screen laptop."
