For general use and affordability, the Acer Aspire 3 is an excellent choice with a budget price, and it offers a good battery life that is suitable for tasks that aren't too intensive. However, if you frequently work on engineering tasks or 3D modelling and are willing to invest more, the Dell Inspiron 16 provides superior performance with a more powerful processor and double the RAM. It also has a larger 16-inch touchscreen display with a higher screen resolution, which enhances productivity and multitasking capabilities but makes it less portable due to its larger size and weight. The Dell also gets an edge with a better webcam and speakers. Both laptops have similar storage capacity and a quiet operation but lack gaming capabilities. Give Feedback

The Dell Inspiron 16 5625 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 14 for content creation, and software development.
For general use, both the Acer Aspire 3 14 and Dell Inspiron 16 5625 offer screens with adequate resolution and brightness, providing a comfortable viewing experience for activities like browsing and video streaming. In engineering and design, where precise colors are key, these laptops may fall short due to limited color gamut coverage, which could affect color-sensitive work. Gamers and 3D designers may find the lower refresh rates of these models less than ideal, resulting in less fluid motion and potentially compromising the visual smoothness required for fast-paced or highly detailed 3D rendering.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers Dell Inspiron 16 5625 to be only fair for gaming and AI, while the Acer Aspire 3 14 is poor.
The Acer Aspire 3 14's fair assessment for gaming and 3D is likely due to its AMD Radeon 610M graphics unit and standard 60Hz screen refresh rate, which means it can handle some gaming tasks but is not optimized for high-end gaming that requires more graphics power and smoother visuals.

How the Acer Aspire 3 14 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 compare to other laptops
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
