The Asus Zenbook Duo 14 offers higher performance for intensive tasks, fanless operation, and is lighter, making it suited for professionals needing multitasking and portability despite its higher price. On the other hand, the Acer Aspire 3 14 is more budget-friendly and offers a respectable performance for general use but sacrifices some portability and advanced features like a touchscreen. If you need a machine for heavy workloads and appreciate innovative features, the Asus might be your choice, whereas the Acer could be ideal if you want to save money for more casual use. The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 3 14 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The Acer Aspire 3 14 has a screen that's suitable for tasks like web browsing and document editing, but its lower resolution and brightness might not provide the most vivid or sharp images for detail-oriented work or vibrant entertainment. The ASUS Zenbook Duo 14, with its higher resolution and better brightness, caters to those who need clearer and more accurate color reproduction for activities like photo editing or design work, thanks to its wider color gamut coverage. However, for gaming or 3D modeling, both laptops might not be ideal because their screens lack high refresh rates, which are crucial for smooth motion and fast-paced visuals.

How the Acer Aspire 3 14 and the ASUS Zenbook Duo 14 compare to other laptops
"The Asus ZenBook Duo's second screen is like the Apple Touch Bar, but better. Most would agree that having two screens instead of one can really boost productivity and the ZenBook Duo is no different in this regard. It's tough going back to just one screen after becoming accustomed to spacious dual-screen setups. For a laptop form factor, however, users will have to accept some compromises. Firstly, weight is the most obvious drawback as the system is several hundred grams heavier than a regular ZenBook 14. Additionally, colors on the second screen will not be as vivid as the main display."
