If you are looking for an affordable option for basic tasks like browsing the internet and using office applications, the Acer Aspire 1 would be suitable. However, it has limited storage and lower performance, so it's not ideal for more demanding tasks. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H, while more expensive, offers significantly higher performance, making it better for gaming, engineering software, and other intensive applications. It also has a larger display with a higher refresh rate, more storage, and enhanced graphics capabilities but is heavier and less portable than the Acer Aspire 1. The cost difference reflects these substantial differences in capability and use case alignment. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is good for general use, while the Acer Aspire 1 is poor.
The Acer Aspire 1 has a less powerful CPU, less RAM, and a lower-quality display than the Gigabyte Aorus 17H, hindering its performance for general use. While more portable due to its lighter weight, the Aspire 1 compromises on screen quality, battery life, and overall performance which the Aorus 17H excels in, offering better multitasking capability and a higher quality IPS screen for a more robust general use experience.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good for gaming and AI, while the Acer Aspire 1 is poor.
The Acer Aspire 1 falls short in gaming and 3D capabilities primarily due to its Intel Celeron N4500 UHD Graphics, which is not designed for high-performance tasks, and its standard screen refresh rate of 60Hz which is not ideal for smooth gameplay or 3D applications.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H is very good for engineering and design, while the Acer Aspire 1 is poor.
The Acer Aspire 1 struggles with engineering and design use due to its basic Intel Celeron N4500 processor, integrated UHD Graphics, and a TN display with limited color coverage, making it ill-suited for intensive tasks and accurate color work.

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the Acer Aspire 1 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Aspire 1 likely has a lower resolution and dimmer display, which affects clarity and visibility, making it less suitable for all purposes. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H probably features a brighter, higher resolution screen that enhances general use and design work, but may lack a high refresh rate, which is crucial for smooth visuals in 3D applications and gaming. The Aorus 17H's adequacy in color reproduction would suffice for engineering and design tasks but isn't optimized for the demands of high-frame-rate gaming or professional 3D work where fast screen refreshes are key.

"There are no surprises and nothing's extraordinary here but this laptop's price. For those in need of an inexpensive Windows laptop for undemanding tasks, though, the Acer Aspire 1 offers just enough to get the basics done and a larger screen to do them on."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
