The Sennheiser HD 400S are a budget-friendly option, often less expensive than the Soundcore Life Q30, and provide a closed, over-ear design which is good for passive noise isolation; however, they lack features like active noise cancelling (ANC) and a built-in microphone. The Soundcore Life Q30, on the other hand, offers ANC and a built-in microphone, which can be valuable for phone calls and noise reduction in various environments. If you prioritize advanced features like noise cancellation and a microphone for calls over the cost and basic listening experience, the Soundcore Life Q30 may suit your needs better. Give Feedback

Headphone Dungeon

Jim | August 2022
"Sennheiser has done it again. The HD 400S performs well beyond its price range and is one of the better budget model headphones I’ve tried. It has very few bells and whistles and offers a simple means of listening that still delivers amazing clarity and quality. If you need a good first pair of headphones or need something that you can take out of the house, then the HD 400S is definitely for you."

Headphones Addict

Peter Susic | December 2021
"Every once in a while, headphones with an excellent price/performance ratio arrive that truly deserves all attention. Anker Soundcore Life Q30 are one of those headphones. Of course, they aren’t perfect, but they do most things better than their competition. Or they give you the option to make them better."
