If you prioritize sound quality and need wireless capability, the Sennheiser 450BT would be a better choice, with active noise canceling and a reputation for immersive audio, suitable for air travel and music listening. However, if a quality microphone for calls and a lower price are more important, the Turtle Beach Recon 70, while wired and without noise cancellation, offers excellent mic quality. Both are over-ear, closed-back headphones providing good comfort, but keep in mind that the Turtle Beach lacks wireless functionality and won't be as portable as the foldable Sennheiser. "The Sennheiser HD 450BT is a very good pair of headphones for the price, noise canceling is good and sound quality is great—quite rare at this price point. Like any product, this headset isn’t without its faults."
"There aren’t many considerations to make here. The Turtle Beach Recon 70 sounds decent, offers solid chat audio, feels good to wear over long periods, and it works everywhere. If you’re in the market for a simple plug-and-play option, you could do a whole lot worse (and spend a whole lot more money). Regardless, if getting something cheap that works well is the only thing you care about, this is a great option."
