The Razer Kraken offers good sound quality, comfort, and excellent microphone quality suitable for gaming and calls, at a lower price. However, the Rode NTH-100M, while more expensive, provides superior sound quality, higher comfort, and the best microphone quality, making it a better choice for professional use in calls and meetings. If you're on a tighter budget and primarily gaming, the Kraken may suffice, but if you need the best audio and mic performance for various tasks and can afford the higher price, the Rode NTH-100M is the stronger option. PC Gamer

Rob Dwiar | March 2019
"Generally the Kraken is a very comfortable headset and there’s nothing that really identifies it as anything else. All in, the Kraken performed exactly as I’d expect a premium, designated gaming headset to perform: performing well in game audio, though not quite with the same quality of those headsets further up the price scale."

"The NTH-100M is a closed-back headset aimed at professional audiophiles—streamers, podcasters and content creators included—looking for masterful audio and a detachable 'broadcast-grade' microphone."
