The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless provides a strong gaming experience with low latency in Game Mode, a solid build, and are significantly more affordable, making them great for budget-conscious gamers and active users. However, the Sony WF1000XM3 have active noise cancelling, better soundstage, and are optimized for both Android and Apple devices, offering superior sound quality and making them ideal for travel and calls in noisy environments. While Sony's earbuds are more expensive, they may be more suited for a broader range of activities including listening in noisy places and for longer uninterrupted periods with their longer battery life. The Verge

Chris Welch | August 2019
"This latest set is more “Pro” than not in both looks and features: they offer active noise cancellation, a low-latency gaming mode, and have switched to a in-ear design with silicone tips. Just like many of the company’s laptops and gaming accessories, the 2021 Hammerhead True Wireless include Razer’s full Chroma RGB system. It makes for what Razer calls “the ultimate wireless earbud flex.”"

Sound Guys

Lily Katz | November 2022
"Wireless earbuds are a dime a dozen, and the Sony WF-1000XM3 makes it easy to justify the cost. The design and comfort are good, and the connection strength is consistent. While the lack of aptX or LDAC support is a big drawback, DSEE HX processing improves low-quality audio files. If you want stylish active noise canceling (ANC) earbuds, the WF-1000XM3 needs to be at the top of your list."
