The Raycon The Everyday Earbuds are much more affordable and are a solid choice for casual music listening, calls, and fitness activities due to their sweatproof certification and comfortable fit. They're lightweight, portable, and come with a decent battery life. However, their overall sound quality and noise isolation are average. On the other hand, the Sony WF1000XM5, while pricier, offer superior sound quality, active noise cancellation, and an advanced codec for better sound reproduction. They are also more comfortable with additional features like virtual surround, app customization, and ear detection for smart playback. If budget is a key concern and you need earbuds for everyday use, consider the Raycons. But for the best listening experience in various environments and for travel, and if you are willing to invest more, the Sony WF1000XM5 would be the superior choice. Give Feedback

Wired

Parker Hall | January 2023
"Sure, every influencer owns these buds. They’re still pretty good. In this price range, getting anything that seals well in your ears for good soundstage, doesn’t sound like trash, and won’t immediately break is a huge win. The Everyday Buds tick all of those boxes for me, and I intend to use them at least nearly every day; I go to the gym on alternating evenings. Damn it, YouTube. You've cost me good money again."

Sound Guys

Harley Maranan | July 2023
"The Sony WF-1000XM5 is among the best noise canceling earbuds currently on the market, and they aren’t cheap. These earbuds aren’t the best choice for budget-conscious listeners. But if you prioritize active noise cancelation, sound quality, and extensive software support, the WF-1000XM5 is worth its premium price tag."
