If your priority is overall sound quality and features like active noise cancelling, app customization, and wireless functionality, opt for the "Nothing" Brand Ear (2). They offer better sound for music and are suited for a variety of uses including exercise, calls, and watching TV. However, if budget is a concern and you don't need wireless capabilities or active noise cancelling, the Sony MDREX15AP provides good comfort and excellent TV and video sound quality at a lower price. The Sonys lack modern features such as app equalization and low latency mode, making the "Nothing" earbuds more suitable for a tech-savvy user. Give Feedback

Sound Guys

Jasper Lastoria | March 2023
"For the price the Nothing Ear (2) is pretty good. It fits well, and the IP54 rating (and IP55 with case) is durable enough for daily life. Most of its unique features are found in the Nothing X app, such as personalized frequency responses, and personalized, adjustable ANC."

Make It Sound Great

Pete Anthony | June 2022
"At the ultra budget $10 price-point (and we’ve seen the no-mic version go for as cheap as $7), I’d say these are a decent option if you’re looking for a passable pair of earbuds for basic use that’s as cheap as possible. I wouldn’t say they feel or sound as good as some of the ultra-budget alternatives out there – of which there are a few at this point – but some might disagree. I will say though that the cable is a little bit nicer than those of that same competition."
