The Moondrop Chu offers great overall sound quality for a budget price, making them an excellent value if you prioritize good audio without spending a lot. They have built-in in-line microphone, which is handy for calls. However, the Thieaudio Monarch Mk II, while significantly more expensive, has superior sound quality and soundstage, which can be important for an audiophile seeking the best listening experience. They do not have a microphone, so they're not ideal for calls or meetings. Both models are wired and have similar comfort and build quality, but they are not suitable for exercise due to their design and lack of sweat resistance. Give Feedback

"These budget buds put the pressure on those premium priced in-ear monitors to really justify the cost disparity. Offering excellent sound quality at any price, the Moondrop Chu is both a perfect entry into the audio enthusiast hobby, and an all around good pick for music fans."
"No other earphone I have listened to in the past 12 months has given me as much joy as the Thieaduio Monarch MKII. One of those IEMs will make you question where we can go from here. The sound is jaw-dropping, leaving you wanting more and more. It makes you want to run through your entire music library and reevaluate. It makes you not feel bad about paying full price for them, especially in a hobby where buyers' remorse is genuine. For me, it's top tier, rivaled by a few but not surpassed."
