If you value sound quality and noise isolation for a budget-friendly option, the Sennheiser HD 400S may suit you, especially for casual music listening and calls. However, if you're active and need earbuds that provide unique features like heart rate monitoring and local music storage, and are sweat and dustproof, consider the premium-priced Mojawa HaptiFit Terra. Remember, the Mojawa earbuds offer bone conduction technology, which is poor in sound quality but good for situational awareness during exercise, whereas the Sennheiser offers good overall sound quality but with poor noise isolation and no fitness-focused features. Jim | August 2022
"Sennheiser has done it again. The HD 400S performs well beyond its price range and is one of the better budget model headphones I’ve tried. It has very few bells and whistles and offers a simple means of listening that still delivers amazing clarity and quality. If you need a good first pair of headphones or need something that you can take out of the house, then the HD 400S is definitely for you."
