If immersive music and portability are important to you, then the Marshall Major IV might be your preferred choice as they are on-ear headphones with higher overall sound quality and they are foldable, making them easier to carry. They also have a very long battery life and support wireless charging, which can be incredibly convenient. However, if you're looking for headphones primarily for calls, meetings, gaming, or you need excellent mic quality, the Rode NTH-100M should be your go-to as they score higher in these categories and come with a boom mic. Both are closed-back with similar sound isolation and build quality, but it's worth noting that the Rode is an over-ear design, which can be more comfortable for extended use but is less portable due to its larger size and the lack of foldability. Sound Guys

Jasper Lastoria | September 2023
"The Marshall Major IV shares quite a bit in common with its predecessor, but a key upgrade appears to be softer ear cushions. They make upgrading worth it. As a set of basic wired or wireless headphones the Major IV ticks most boxes by remaining easy to use, and fairly comfortable (at least, as on-ear headphones go)."

"The NTH-100M is a closed-back headset aimed at professional audiophiles—streamers, podcasters and content creators included—looking for masterful audio and a detachable 'broadcast-grade' microphone."
