If you're focused on cost and comfort for lengthy use, especially for calls and meetings, the JLab Go Work Wireless is a budget-friendly option with good microphone quality and is comfortable over long periods. However, if superior sound quality, portability, and advanced features like active noise cancelling and app-based audio controls are priorities, and you don't mind paying a premium, the Sony WF1000XM5 earbuds are a comprehensive choice. The Sonys also provide better noise isolation and have a longer battery life, but they might be less suitable for vigorous exercise given their form factor compared to the JLab's over-ear design. Headphone Check

Maike Paeßens | 2021
"If you are going to criticise the JLab Go Work, it would be for the cables, which are to some extent too short for their intended use, and for its rather harsh treble reproduction above moderate volume levels in music mode. However, the call quality during telephone calls and video conferences in voice mode via wireless and via cable is impeccable. This handy Bluetooth headset also scores points with its excellent battery life and support for multipoint connections."

Sound Guys

Harley Maranan | July 2023
"The Sony WF-1000XM5 is among the best noise canceling earbuds currently on the market, and they aren’t cheap. These earbuds aren’t the best choice for budget-conscious listeners. But if you prioritize active noise cancelation, sound quality, and extensive software support, the WF-1000XM5 is worth its premium price tag."
