If you prioritize wireless convenience and use during exercise with a sweatproof certification, the JBL Tune Flex would be a better choice. They also have a low latency mode which is beneficial for gaming and provide an excellent music listening experience. However, if you're looking for top-notch mic quality for calls and meetings, and are on a tighter budget, the Turtle Beach Recon 70 with its boom mic may serve you better, despite being wired and not suitable for exercising or air travel due to lack of active noise cancelling and poorer portability score. "JBL is offering a similar design and arguably better resolution than the more expensive AirPods 3rd Generation. Add to that a comfortable and versatile fit, an equalizer and pretty decent ANC, and you’ve got a quality wireless earphone. I would have loved longer battery life and more crystal calls, but for the price, you can’t complain. A solid deal overall."
"There aren’t many considerations to make here. The Turtle Beach Recon 70 sounds decent, offers solid chat audio, feels good to wear over long periods, and it works everywhere. If you’re in the market for a simple plug-and-play option, you could do a whole lot worse (and spend a whole lot more money). Regardless, if getting something cheap that works well is the only thing you care about, this is a great option."
