If you're mindful of your spending, JBL Tune 660NC headphones offer a lower midrange price and are a good choice, especially with features like active noise cancelling, a 42-hour battery life, and both wireless and wired options. However, they may not be the best for TV and video due to low sound quality in those areas. Thieaudio Monarch Mk II earbuds, on the other hand, deliver best in class music quality and have excellent build quality, but are priced at the high end and lack wireless functionality. They're great for high-fidelity listening but less convenient for exercise or travel due to their larger earbud size and lack of features like noise cancelling or sweatproof certification. Chase Bernath | April 2023
"The JBL Tune 660NC is the best value you can get from a set of on-ear headphones. There's no companion app so you don't get many additional features, but everything the JBL Tune 660NC sets out to do, it does well. At this price, the JBL Tune 660NC is an easy recommendation for on-ear headphone lovers"

Audiophile On | August 2021
"No other earphone I have listened to in the past 12 months has given me as much joy as the Thieaduio Monarch MKII. One of those IEMs will make you question where we can go from here. The sound is jaw-dropping, leaving you wanting more and more. It makes you want to run through your entire music library and reevaluate. It makes you not feel bad about paying full price for them, especially in a hobby where buyers' remorse is genuine. For me, it's top tier, rivaled by a few but not surpassed."
