If cost is a major factor for you, the JBL Tune 660NC will save you money while offering good build quality and the convenience of both wireless and wired connections. They are suitable for air travel with active noise cancelling and foldable design for portability. However, for an earbud experience with superior sound quality, active noise cancelling, and a deep feature set including an app equalizer and audio controls customization, the Sony WF1000XM3 is the better choice, especially if you need excellent call quality. They are optimized for both Android and Apple, have a significant battery life, and support quick charging, but they are not recommended for use during exercise or environments where dust and water resistance are crucial, as they lack sweatproof and dustproof certification. SoundGuys

Chase Bernath | April 2023
"The JBL Tune 660NC is the best value you can get from a set of on-ear headphones. There's no companion app so you don't get many additional features, but everything the JBL Tune 660NC sets out to do, it does well. At this price, the JBL Tune 660NC is an easy recommendation for on-ear headphone lovers"

Lily Katz | November 2022
"Wireless earbuds are a dime a dozen, and the Sony WF-1000XM3 makes it easy to justify the cost. The design and comfort are good, and the connection strength is consistent. While the lack of aptX or LDAC support is a big drawback, DSEE HX processing improves low-quality audio files. If you want stylish active noise canceling (ANC) earbuds, the WF-1000XM3 needs to be at the top of your list."
