If price is a major concern, the Razer Kraken offers good overall quality and excellent mic quality at a budget price, making it a great option for gaming and calls. They're wired, which avoids latency issues, but lack wireless convenience. For those who prefer wireless versatility and the option of active noise cancelling for travel, and don't mind spending more, the JBL Tune 660NC is suitable; however, their performance for gaming and watching TV may be limited due to potential latency issues with wireless connections. Both are closed-back, improving sound isolation, but neither is particularly tailored for use during exercise or harsh environments as they lack sweat and dustproof certification. Give Feedback

SoundGuys

Chase Bernath | April 2023
"The JBL Tune 660NC is the best value you can get from a set of on-ear headphones. There's no companion app so you don't get many additional features, but everything the JBL Tune 660NC sets out to do, it does well. At this price, the JBL Tune 660NC is an easy recommendation for on-ear headphone lovers"

PC Gamer

Rob Dwiar | March 2019
"Generally the Kraken is a very comfortable headset and there’s nothing that really identifies it as anything else. All in, the Kraken performed exactly as I’d expect a premium, designated gaming headset to perform: performing well in game audio, though not quite with the same quality of those headsets further up the price scale."
