If active noise canceling and wireless convenience are priorities for you, the JBL Tune 660NC would be the better choice. They are also foldable, making them more portable and they support AAC codec which is good for Apple devices. Additionally, they are suitable for air travel and have an integrated mic, but they do not perform well for gaming or watching TV. On the other hand, the Philips SHP9500 offers very good sound quality with an excellent soundstage, making them ideal for music and TV. They are open-back and have a comfortable fit which is great for long listening sessions, yet they lack a built-in microphone and are not designed for exercise or noisy environments due to poor noise isolation. SoundGuys

Chase Bernath | April 2023
"The JBL Tune 660NC is the best value you can get from a set of on-ear headphones. There's no companion app so you don't get many additional features, but everything the JBL Tune 660NC sets out to do, it does well. At this price, the JBL Tune 660NC is an easy recommendation for on-ear headphone lovers"
