If you prioritize saving money and mostly need headphones for casual listening or non-competitive gaming, JBL Quantum 100 would be suitable as they're significantly less expensive. However, if you value better sound quality and features such as noise cancellation for commuting or in noisy environments, the Soundcore Space One would be the better option, despite the higher cost. The JBL Quantum 100 also features a boom microphone, which is good for clear calls or in-game communication, while the Soundcore Space One has an integrated microphone which may not be as clear but does provide a more seamless look. Additionally, if battery life and wireless connectivity are important for you, the Soundcore offers that convenience with a good battery life, while the JBL Quantum 100 lacks these features. "I appreciate a functional piece of tech as much as I do gear on the bleeding edge, and the JBL Quantum 100 certainly falls in the former category. The sound is reasonably good, the built-in microphone is surprisingly reliable and it has a thoughtful design for the price. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, sure, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to worry about the finicky nature of wireless communication and go with good old hard-wired tech."
"The Anker Soundcore Space One noise-cancelling headphones are stylish, comfortable, and affordable. They offer better active noise cancellation than we expect for the price, and their sculpted audio impresses thanks to the adjustable EQ and support for the hi-res LDAC codec. Overall, they’re an excellent value and well worth your attention if you're on a budget."
