The JBL Live Pro 2 is usually less expensive and offers good overall sound quality, comfort, and build. They're better suited for exercise, thanks to their sweatproof certification and higher use during exercise score. However, the "Nothing" Ear (2) has a higher overall sound quality, especially for gaming, TV, and video, as it supports a low latency mode and LHDC codec for improved sound and reduced delay. The "Nothing" Ear (2) also features better call quality, active noise cancelling, and is optimized for both Android and Apple devices, whereas the JBL's are not as well-rounded for calls and do not offer active noise cancelling. What HiFi?

What HiFi? | February 2023
"The JBL Live Pro 2 TWS occupy an interesting space in the wireless earbuds market. They’re a step up from cheap wireless earbuds and allow you to access better sound quality without having to make the jump to more premium options from the likes of Bose, Sony and Sennheiser. They’re an entertaining listen, easy to use and manage to pack in a lot of useful features. We think they’re well worth a listen."

Sound Guys

Jasper Lastoria | March 2023
"For the price the Nothing Ear (2) is pretty good. It fits well, and the IP54 rating (and IP55 with case) is durable enough for daily life. Most of its unique features are found in the Nothing X app, such as personalized frequency responses, and personalized, adjustable ANC."
