If you prioritize active noise cancelling and longer battery life for air travel or noisy environments, choose the JBL Live 770NC. For a more durable option and if having an app equalizer to customize sound is important to you, consider the Marshall Major IV. The JBL is better for exercising due to sweatproof certification, but the Marshall may offer more comfort with its on-ear form and lighter weight. Note that neither is excellent for gaming or watching TV due to latency issues, and both are wireless with the option to use a cable; JBL provides a shorter detachable cable compared to the Marshall's longer one. How the JBL Live 770NC and the Marshall Major IV compare to other earbuds and headphones
"The Marshall Major IV shares quite a bit in common with its predecessor, but a key upgrade appears to be softer ear cushions. They make upgrading worth it. As a set of basic wired or wireless headphones the Major IV ticks most boxes by remaining easy to use, and fairly comfortable (at least, as on-ear headphones go)."
