If you prioritize active noise cancelling and listening during air travel, and you don't mind the bulk, the JBL Live 770NC over-ear headphones could be a better fit—they are also less expensive. However, if you need something more portable with sweat and dustproof features for exercise, and you appreciate wireless charging and a smart charging case, the JBL Live Beam 3 earbuds may justify their higher price. Note the JBL Live Beam 3 does not connect via a wired option, and while both have good overall sound quality, neither is recommended for gaming or watching TV due to poor performance in those areas.
