The HyperX Cloud II are over-ear headphones that offer exceptional comfort and microphone quality, making them excellent for gaming and calls or meetings. They provide a good overall sound quality but are on the heavier side and less portable. On the other hand, the Moondrop Chu are earbuds that are much lighter and just a bit better for music listening, with a superior overall sound quality and score for books/podcasts. Note that the HyperX has a boom microphone and the Moondrop Chu has an in-line mic, which may affect mic clarity. Neither option has wireless capabilities, and both are closed-back, offering some noise isolation. If you value portability and music listening, the Moondrop Chu may be the better choice, especially considering it is much more affordable. However, if gaming, comfort over extended periods, and microphone quality are priorities, you may find the extra investment in the HyperX Cloud II justified. Give Feedback

About Moondrop
Moondrop is a Chinese brand of smart audio equipment, portable audio players, earbuds and headphones started in 2015. During the last few years they have become one of the major players in what is lovingly referred to as the Chi-fi market, the bulk of Chinese companies that have managed to actually compete with the western manufacturers in both prices and superior quality. Products such as the Blessing II, Chu and Kato are among the most popular offerings of the brand, more popular among those users that wish for good quality audio that won't break the bank. Besides audio, the brand also works in what they call the ACGN field (Animation, Comics, Games and Short Novels).
