Updated April 11, 2024·

If you appreciate very good overall sound quality and compact size in earbuds, prefer to use them for music, and don't mind spending more, the Grado GT220 could be the right choice, although they lack a few features like active noise cancelling and are not the best for gaming or TV due to poor scores in those areas. On the other hand, the JLab Jbuds Lux ANC are more budget-friendly, offer active noise cancelling for noisy environments, have a much longer battery life, and are designed to be durable with a more comfortable over-ear form, but might not match the Grado GT220 in sound quality for music listening. Choose the JLab Jbuds Lux ANC if budget, noise cancellation, and battery life are priorities, especially for air travel, or Grado GT220 for a focus on music listening in a compact form.
