The Grado GT220 earbuds, being less expensive, offer good overall sound quality and are designed for ease of use with built-in controls, making them suitable for calls, meetings, and casual listening. They're also sweatproof, have wireless charging, and are portable for use while exercising. In contrast, the HifiMan Arya Stealth headphones are priced highly but provide superior sound quality and an expansive soundstage suited for critical listening and an immersive TV and video experience. However, their open-back design and larger size make them less portable and offer minimal noise isolation; best for home or studio environments. Arya Stealth lacks a microphone, wireless capability, and built-in controls, which are present in the Grado GT220. Give Feedback

Headphonesty

Eric D Hieger | October 2022
"The Arya can easily be end-game headphones for 99% of consumers, satisfying most audio desires. Priced well above USD$1000, the Arya are obviously and gloriously not for the mass market consumer; they are designed and built by enthusiasts for enthusiasts – especially those who view their expenses on this level of gear as investments."

About Grado

Grado Labs is a small, family-owned, business based in Brooklyn New York that specializes in high-end, boutique, dynamic headphones and turntable cartridges. They boast a particular house sound, that is to say their products have a particular sound signature unique to Grado, that some audiophiles seem to really like and are unable to find anywhere else. Their high-end headphones are all hand made, completely in house, from a variety of exotic woods and materials going so far as to making one of their most popular products out of hemp.

About HifiMan

HiFiMAN is a Chinese, high-end, audio product manufacturer, with 20 years of experience, that specializes in amplifiers, digital audio players and planar magnetic headphones, some of which have become a staple in the audiophile community such as the entry-level Sundara, the midrange Edition X, and the very well-regarded, high-end, Arya.
