If price is a significant factor and you're looking for excellent sound isolation and overall sound quality for music, consider the Etymotic ER2SE earbuds. They're also wired, which ensures a stable connection without latency issues, making them suitable for TV and video. However, they lack comfort for long periods, a built-in mic for calls, and features like sweatproof certification and active noise cancelling (ANC). On the other hand, the JBL Live 770NC headphones are more comfortable for extended wear, include ANC, offer a built-in mic, and have wireless capabilities with app support. They provide better portability and are suited for air travel but may not be optimal for high-quality audio during calls and meetings and are not recommended for exercise due to their size. Sound Guys

Lily Katz | April 2022
"Etymotic isn’t playing around: it takes audio seriously and has mastered the art of the noise-isolation earphone. Sure, the fit of the earbuds looks silly but it’s a signature Etymotic thing and could be considered charming by some. If you’re looking for best-in-class audio for a realistic price, the ER2SE is it."
