If you value sound quality and noise isolation for a more immersive listening experience, especially for music and air travel, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are a better choice; they also have active noise cancelling, an app with equalizer and customization options, and are sweatproof, making them versatile for different activities. However, they are significantly more expensive, have a shorter battery life, and lack low latency which might not be ideal for gaming. Conversely, the Shokz OpenMove, while much less expensive, offer an open design with bone conduction technology, which is safer for outdoor activities as it lets you hear your surroundings, and they also have a lower weight and longer battery life, yet they provide lower sound quality and comfort scores, and no active noise cancelling. "Bose put the time in to fix the major issues with the previous earbuds, and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are very befitting of its price point. While you might be tempted to save a few bucks and go with the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II on sale, fight the urge. There are enough upgrades here to justify the newer model."
"The Shokz OpenMove are a bit more affordable than the company's other bone conduction headphones, making them a more appealing option for athletes on a budget. These headphones support premium features like multipoint connectivity and a durable build, but you lose other niceties like fast charging and a long battery life. Still, for less than $80, these are nice bone conduction headphones that will keep you safe when exercising."
