If you value superior noise isolation and are willing to invest in a premium product for the best experience during air travel, the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones are excellent, with best in class comfort and active noise cancelling. They also have a balanced sound, great for TV and video, supportive of lossless codecs like AptX Adaptive, and come with a longer battery life. In contrast, the Marshall Major IV offers good sound at a much lower price, but sacrifices noise isolation, soundstage, and doesn't support high-quality codecs. They do have an exceptionally long battery life, tout durability, and are optimized for portability with a foldable design. Choose Bose for a premium immersive experience and frequent flying, or Marshall if you're budget-conscious, prefer portability, and don't need top-tier noise cancelling. Give Feedback

"The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are a credible step up from previous Bose ANC headphones, and they're built to hang tough with the competition for years into the future. No waterproofing is a bit of a letdown, but these headphones have the technical chops to make most quite happy."
"The Marshall Major IV shares quite a bit in common with its predecessor, but a key upgrade appears to be softer ear cushions. They make upgrading worth it. As a set of basic wired or wireless headphones the Major IV ticks most boxes by remaining easy to use, and fairly comfortable (at least, as on-ear headphones go)."
