If you prioritize noise isolation for a quiet listening environment, such as during air travel or in noisy spaces, the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds, with excellent active noise cancelling, are a strong choice. They also provide superior sound quality for music listening and a secure fit which could be ideal for light exercise. However, these benefits come with a higher price. In contrast, the Sony MDREX15AP earbuds are a budget-friendly option that offers good sound quality and comfort but lacks wireless connectivity and advanced features such as noise cancellation and app controls. The Sony earbuds, being wired, might be better suited for stationary listening scenarios like TV and video where a stable connection without latency is important. Give Feedback

Sound Guys

Lily Katz | March 2023
"The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds is a great do-it-all option for anyone, so long as you can afford it. This is a great alternative to the Apple AirPods Pro and Sony WF-1000XM4. You can choose the degree of noise canceling, and enjoy premium features like automatic ear-detection. These earbuds merit an IPX4 rating, making them a fine workout companion."

Make It Sound Great

Pete Anthony | June 2022
"At the ultra budget $10 price-point (and we’ve seen the no-mic version go for as cheap as $7), I’d say these are a decent option if you’re looking for a passable pair of earbuds for basic use that’s as cheap as possible. I wouldn’t say they feel or sound as good as some of the ultra-budget alternatives out there – of which there are a few at this point – but some might disagree. I will say though that the cable is a little bit nicer than those of that same competition."
