If you're looking for the best noise isolation for air travel and comfort, both options are excellent, but the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones edge out due to their best-in-class comfort rating. They also have better sound quality for TV and video and support virtual surround. However, the Bose 700 offers a longer battery life for extended usage. When considering cost, the Bose 700 are generally less expensive and still provide very good overall sound quality, with very good built-in controls. If low latency during activities like gaming is important to you, be aware that neither are recommended for that use case. Choose according to what's most important for you: utmost comfort and improved TV/video experience or battery life and cost savings. Give Feedback

Sound Guys

Adam Molina | June 2023
"Bose took active noise canceling and made it mainstream but eventually, the market caught up. Well, it seems like Bose was listening, because the Noise Canceling Headphones 700 is a complete redesign of its iconic product. The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 have a new design, improved sound quality, a touch-sensitive gesture pad for playback controls, and even USB-C charging."

SoundGuys

Christian Thomas | January 2024
"The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are a credible step up from previous Bose ANC headphones, and they're built to hang tough with the competition for years into the future. No waterproofing is a bit of a letdown, but these headphones have the technical chops to make most quite happy."
