The Beyerdynamic 770 Pro (80 ohm) offers an excellent overall sound quality, making it suitable for immersive music listening experiences, with a comfort level that supports extended use. Although lacking a microphone, which may affect calls and meeting utility, these headphones have a solid build and a lower latency that benefits TV and gaming activities. In contrast, the Etymotic ER4XR earbuds feature superior noise isolation, making them ideal for air travel and environments with a lot of background noise. While they also have high sound fidelity, they are less comfortable for long periods and less suited for exercise, but they come with a detachable cable which can be a plus for durability. Choose the Beyerdynamic if you prioritize superior sound and comfort for home use, or the Etymotic for better noise isolation and portability. Give Feedback

What HiFi?

What HiFi? | May 2015
"The Etymotic ER4XRs' top qualities are the detail and definition of the midrange, rewarding the closest listening. While the soundstage is large rather than gigantic, the excellent separation and spatial precision mean you can dive deep into music just as much as when wearing a pair of full-size open-backed headphones."
