If you prioritize call quality and gaming, the Bang and Olufsen Beoplay EX may be the better choice as they offer good microphone quality and low latency. However, for those who value effective noise isolation and are cost-conscious, the Bose Quiet Comfort Earbuds, while less expensive, provide excellent noise isolation but poor mic quality, making them less ideal for calls. The Bose earbuds also are not the best choice for gaming due to higher latency. For frequent flyers, the Bose's superior noise isolation might be preferable, despite being heavier and offering slightly less portability compared to the Bang and Olufsen. Both have a premium build quality, but if optimizing for Android or Apple devices is important, the Bang and Olufsen earbuds have dedicated optimizations, whereas the Bose earbuds do not discriminate between platforms. "The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds is a great do-it-all option for anyone, so long as you can afford it. This is a great alternative to the Apple AirPods Pro and Sony WF-1000XM4. You can choose the degree of noise canceling, and enjoy premium features like automatic ear-detection. These earbuds merit an IPX4 rating, making them a fine workout companion."
