For pure music listening, especially in quiet environments, the Audio Technica M50x offers very good sound quality with a strong reputation in this area; however, they lack a built-in microphone and active noise cancelling, so they're not ideal for calls or noisy environments. If you're a frequent traveler or need to take calls, the JLab Jbuds Lux ANC might be preferable because they have active noise cancellation and a good mic, along with excellent battery life, but their sound quality and comfort are rated good, a step down from the Audio Technicas. The M50x headphones also provide better build quality and are wired, which can be a drawback if you prefer the convenience of wireless like with the JLab Jbuds, although the JLab headphones also come with a cable. Sound Guys

Jasper Lastoria | October 2022
"Good sound is timeless. It doesn’t matter that a number of years have passed since the ATH-M50x came out because it still works well. Since this wired headset doesn’t rely on batteries or Bluetooth technology, it’s bound to outlast its wireless counterparts. The no-nonsense performance, fit, and comfort of the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x make it worth picking up."
