If you prioritize wireless convenience and active noise cancelling for diverse activities including calls, exercise, and travel, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 with its excellent mic and overall sound quality, as well as support for the LDAC codec for better wireless audio, is a superior choice. However, if affordability is key and you don't need wireless functionality or active noise cancelling, preferring a gaming focus with virtual surround sound and a boom mic, the Razer Kraken V3 headphones may better suit your needs, despite their lacking portability and noise isolation compared to the ATH-TWX7. "There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."
"This Razer Kraken V3 is a great headset for gamers who want comfort, surround sound, and software customization for a reasonable price. It's primarily a headset for PC gamers since THX Spatial audio is only supported on Windows. If you want something more multifaceted for multiple systems, this won't be an ideal headset for you. Luckily, there are plenty of competent Kraken V3 alternatives available to you."
