If you prioritize wireless convenience and call quality, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 would be suitable, offering excellent call performance and low-latency wireless connection, which includes LDAC support for high-quality audio streaming over Bluetooth. They are also sweatproof and have active noise cancelling for better isolation, making them versatile for various environments including exercise and air travel. However, the Razer Kraken would be a better fit for gaming due to very good sound quality for gaming and a microphone boom, but they lack wireless capability and active noise cancellation. The Krakens are over-ear headphones which may offer better comfort for long periods, but they are not as portable or suitable for exercise as the TWX7s. Give Feedback

Engadget

Billy Steele | January 2024
"There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."

PC Gamer

Rob Dwiar | March 2019
"Generally the Kraken is a very comfortable headset and there’s nothing that really identifies it as anything else. All in, the Kraken performed exactly as I’d expect a premium, designated gaming headset to perform: performing well in game audio, though not quite with the same quality of those headsets further up the price scale."
