If you're looking for superior call quality and a pair that excels in various scenarios like music, calls, gaming, or air travel, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 is the better option. They also offer active noise cancelling, which is great for noisy environments, and have additional features like sweatproof certification and wireless charging. On the other hand, if you're on a budget and prioritize long battery life for extended listening sessions without frequent charging, the JBL 510BT would be more suitable despite its lower overall sound and build quality. The JBL 510BT is also foldable, making it easier to transport if you’re often on the move. Give Feedback

Engadget

Billy Steele | January 2024
"There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."

Sam Smart | September 2023
"The JBL Tune 510BT is affordable and compact, making it a great companion for a commute, so long as you don't need active noise canceling. If you wear glasses or have ear piercings, the on-ear design might not be comfortable, since the ear cups will squish your ears."
