If excellent call quality is a priority along with the freedom of wireless connectivity, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 could be the better choice since they come with active noise cancelling and a Very Good microphone quality. They might also be preferred for exercise since they are sweatproof and provide a more secure fit with included secure fit accessories. However, for an immersive music and gaming experience at home, the EPOS PC38X would be a strong contender due to their Best in Class sound and microphone quality and open-back design providing a very good soundstage, although they lack wireless capability and have poor noise isolation. "There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."
"Lightweight and comfortable design, Mic arm with mute, Excellent tuning, Highly natural midrange voicing, Clean and separated bass, Solid soundstage dimensions. Combining all day comfort and integrated coms with a balanced and spacious sound from essentially any source, it is hard to deny the versatility and value provided by the PC38X."
