If you prioritize call quality and wear during exercise, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7, with its excellent mic and sweatproof certification, would be a better choice. However, if you value a high-quality music listening experience with the ability to tailor sound through an app equalizer, and you're willing to invest more, Bowers and Wilkins Pi7 S2 could be suitable, despite its poor performance on calls and during physical activity. Both provide very good noise isolation and overall sound quality, but the Bowers and Wilkins offers additional features like wireless charging and optimization for both Android and Apple devices. Choose the Audio Technica for active lifestyles and calls, and Bowers and Wilkins if you're after customizable sound and premium features. Give Feedback

Billy Steele | January 2024
"There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."

Engadget

Billy Steele | March 2023
"While the overall sound quality is great, these earbuds fall short in terms of battery life, customization and ANC performance. Bowers & Wilkins’ ability to consistently deliver pristine sound isn’t enough to make up for what the Pi7 S2 lacks, which is unfortunately quite a bit."
