Considering your options, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 offers better value for money with very good ratings across multiple categories including mic quality, calls and meetings, and overall sound quality, making it versatile for various uses from music listening to video calls. It features a low latency mode which is great for gaming and videos, and supports LDAC for higher quality audio streaming, but the lack of aptX support may be a downside for some devices. The Bowers and Wilkins PI7, on the other hand, has premium features such as aptX Adaptive and aptX LL for low-latency wireless audio, which might make it a better pick if connectivity with such devices is key. It also offers wireless charging, a feature not present in the ATH-TWX7, but its sound quality for music has been rated poorly. So, if price and balanced performance are important, go for the ATH-TWX7, but if specific low-latency codecs and wireless charging are more crucial for you and you're willing to spend more, consider the PI7. "There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."
"The primary selling point of the Bowers & Wilkins PI7 is the charging case that can transmit audio from any analog source to the earbuds. If you have a very specific and clear need for that feature, then the Bowers & Wilkins PI7 is for you."
