If price is a concern and you're looking for something more affordable, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 would be a better choice. However, if you're after the best comfort for extended wear and don't mind paying a premium, Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones offer "Best in Class" comfort. For those who prioritize mic quality, both options have "Very Good" ratings but if phone calls and meetings are a frequent use case, Audio Technica's "Excellent" score in that area could be the deciding factor. For gamers and those using headphones for TV and video, Bose has "Excellent" gaming and TV and video scores, making it more suitable for those applications. Both are wireless and support AAC codec, but the Bose has the added advantage of active noise cancelling and a longer battery life. The Audio Technica is low latency and sweatproof certified, better for exercise use and more portable, with a smaller earbud size. Each has its own unique set of features, so your choice should be based on which attributes best meet your personal needs and usage scenarios. Give Feedback

Engadget

Billy Steele | January 2024
"There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."

Christian Thomas | January 2024
"The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are a credible step up from previous Bose ANC headphones, and they're built to hang tough with the competition for years into the future. No waterproofing is a bit of a letdown, but these headphones have the technical chops to make most quite happy."
