Choose the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 if you need wireless earbuds with strong call and music quality, active noise canceling, and a low latency mode for gaming and TV, plus they are sweatproof for exercise and have an app equalizer for customized sound. However, the Beyerdynamic 770 Pro offers very comfortable, over-ear headphones with excellent build and sound quality for music and TV; they're wired, which means no battery life concerns, but lack modern features like a microphone for calls, app controls, or active noise canceling. If portability and modern wireless features are important, go with Audio Technica; for a stationary, immersive music and TV experience without need of a mic or noise canceling, Beyerdynamic is your choice. "There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."
"Altogether, when you consider its accessible price tag, the performance, the build, and its outstanding comfort, I think that the DT770 Pro is fantastic option for anyone looking for a closed-back headphone in the sub-$1,000 range, and I can confidently give it a strong recommendation."
