If sound quality for music is a priority, the Antlion Kimura Duo, with its higher sound and comfort scores, may be preferable despite being more expensive. However, if you make a lot of calls or attend meetings, the JBL Quantum 100 has a higher mic quality score and is more cost-effective. For immersive gaming or watching TV, both have nearly identical scores, but the Kimura Duo's higher build quality may enhance its durability. For activities like exercise or travel, the lighter weight and higher portability score of the JBL might be more practical, although it has lower noise isolation quality compared to the Kimura Duo. Headphones Addict

Peter Susic | February 2023
"Antlion Kimura Duo aren’t packed with features, but the ones they offer, work incredibly well. Especially the boom mic delivers very clean call quality with no distortion. If you explicitly look for gaming in-ear monitors with a reliable microphone, Antlion Kimura Duo are your best option."

CNN Underscored

Wes Davis | July 2023
"I appreciate a functional piece of tech as much as I do gear on the bleeding edge, and the JBL Quantum 100 certainly falls in the former category. The sound is reasonably good, the built-in microphone is surprisingly reliable and it has a thoughtful design for the price. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, sure, but sometimes it’s nice not to have to worry about the finicky nature of wireless communication and go with good old hard-wired tech."
