Choose the Antlion Kimura Duo if you prefer a wired connection and are focused on gaming or high microphone quality, as well as a higher durability, since they come with a boom mic and cable ear hooks. On the other hand, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 is a wireless option with very good overall sound quality and active noise cancelling, better suited for varied use cases including calls, meetings, and air travel, and it supports convenient features like app equalizer customization, Android and Apple optimization, as well as sweatproof certification for exercise. Headphones Addict

Peter Susic | February 2023
"Antlion Kimura Duo aren’t packed with features, but the ones they offer, work incredibly well. Especially the boom mic delivers very clean call quality with no distortion. If you explicitly look for gaming in-ear monitors with a reliable microphone, Antlion Kimura Duo are your best option."

Engadget

Billy Steele | January 2024
"There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."
