If you're looking for exceptional music quality and are willing to invest more, the 7hz Timeless earbuds with their planar drivers offer superior sound quality for music listening over the Sennheiser HD 400S. However, consider the Sennheiser HD 400S headphones if you're seeking comfort, good call quality, and a budget-friendly option. They are also better suited for gaming due to lower latency and a built-in microphone. Both have closed-back designs and similar noise isolation, but if portability and exercising are priorities, neither may be ideal, though the Sennheisers are foldable for easier transport. Neither option supports wireless connectivity or active noise cancelling. Give Feedback

"7Hz picked a bold name for the Timeless and frankly, got very close to justifying their word choice. Most importantly, the Timeless are good to go in stock form, so you don’t have to worry about source-matching and such. I can recommend the 7Hz Timeless to those who do not mind a dash of brightness up top, want a taste of planar in IEM form, and want one of the most resolving pair of earphones in the $150 - $300 price range."

"Sennheiser has done it again. The HD 400S performs well beyond its price range and is one of the better budget model headphones I’ve tried. It has very few bells and whistles and offers a simple means of listening that still delivers amazing clarity and quality. If you need a good first pair of headphones or need something that you can take out of the house, then the HD 400S is definitely for you."
