earbuds with their own strengths. The 7hz Timeless is wired with a detachable cable and offers very good overall sound quality; they are suitable for high-fidelity music listening but have poor mic quality and are not ideal for calls and meetings. They lack wireless capability, active noise cancelling, and are not sweatproof, making them less versatile for exercise or travel. On the other hand, the Audio Technica ATH-TWX7 is wireless with a very good built-in microphone, active noise cancelling, and sweatproof certification, which makes them excellent for calls and versatile for various scenarios, including exercise and commuting. Their battery life is decent, and they support LDAC for better sound quality over Bluetooth. If convenience and multipurpose use are your preference, the ATH-TWX7 is the better choice, but for a wired audiophile experience, particularly focused on music, the 7hz Timeless might be more suitable. "7Hz picked a bold name for the Timeless and frankly, got very close to justifying their word choice. Most importantly, the Timeless are good to go in stock form, so you don’t have to worry about source-matching and such. I can recommend the 7Hz Timeless to those who do not mind a dash of brightness up top, want a taste of planar in IEM form, and want one of the most resolving pair of earphones in the $150 - $300 price range."
"There’s plenty to like about the ATH-TWX7. A robust set of features brings a lot of convenience to your day. But a few of those tools could still use some fine-tuning and the lack of automatic pausing in 2024 is a head scratcher. Still, the audio is mostly good, and transparency mode is better than most. Add in the solid call quality and the in-app voice test and the ATH-TWX7 are a worthy consideration, especially at this price. Too bad it falls short of being a more complete package some of the competition offers for a slightly larger investment."
