The Hisense A6H is a budget-friendly LCD TV from 2022, well-suited for general viewing, especially considering its very good upscaling for lower-resolution content. However, it may not be the best choice for dark rooms or for viewing content that benefits from high contrast and brightness, such as HDR movies. The A6H offers satisfactory performance for sports and fair for gaming but note that its low brightness might not make it ideal for very bright rooms. The TV supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG, and it comes with 4 HDMI ports. The sound quality is rated fair and it does not have great speakers. Give Feedback

Ratings by Category

Sports:
3.1
The Hisense A6H may not be the best option for watching sports due to its poor response time, which can lead to motion blur during fast-paced action. Additionally, its only fair reflections score means that if the TV is placed in a bright room, viewers could experience distracting glare on the screen.
News, Talk & Reality TV:
3.0
PerfectRec’s news, talk, & other TV score prioritizes upscaling, brightness, contrast, out of the box color accuracy, and screen uniformity. This is because almost all news and talk shows are created in Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) with lower resolutions, such as 720P and 1080P. The purpose of this prioritization is to ensure that lower resolution content looks good on a 4K display and to help you identify which TV will perform best when watching live TV via Cable, Satellite, or Antenna.
Cartoons & Animaton:
3.0
PerfectRec’s cartoons & animation score places great importance on several crucial aspects of TV picture quality, such as color gamut, color volume, brightness, and out-of-the-box color accuracy, in addition to good gray uniformity and contrast, to ensure that you can fully enjoy your favorite animated content. Cartoons and animation are characterized by vibrant and colorful imagery, however, accurately displaying this type of content can pose a challenge for TVs, particularly during scenes with complex lighting or subtle color variations.
