The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth 14 Studio for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the MSI Stealth 14 Studio's screen offers clear images and vibrant colors due to its resolution and brightness, which makes it suitable for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. Engineering and design professionals will appreciate the Studio's wide color gamuts, ensuring accurate color representation critical for their work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops' screens fall short because they lack high refresh rates, which are crucial for smooth motion and a more immersive experience.

The MSI Stealth GS77 and MSI Stealth 14 Studio are both very good for engineering and design.
The MSI Stealth 14 Studio is praised for engineering and design use due to its potent combination of a nimble CPU, ample RAM, and a high-quality GPU, which deliver strong performance on resource-intensive tasks, and its 14-inch high-refresh-rate screen provides clear, vivid visuals which are essential for precision work. On the other hand, the MSI Stealth GS77 offers a similar high-performance CPU and an even more powerful GPU with more RAM, enhancing its ability to handle complex engineering simulations and design software; its larger, sharper screen improves the overall visual workspace, but this also makes it less portable compared to its counterpart. Both units excel in their keyboard and speaker quality, with the GS77 slightly edge out due to higher scores, but both have to manage with tradeoffs in terms of operating noise and portability.

How the MSI Stealth 14 Studio and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"You'll find a versatility in the MSI Stealth 14 Studio that isn’t matched by many content-creator laptops we've tested of late. The small frame allows you to (potentially) work from anywhere with an outlet and, if noise isn’t a concern, run your most demanding of programs, thanks to some powerful hardware inside. The MSI Stealth 14 Studio is an attractive and powerful option if you want a portable laptop to be the center of your content work setup."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
